- Booking and Reservation:
1.1. To secure your event/function, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required upon booking.
1.2. The remaining balance is due SEVEN days prior to the event date.
1.3. Booking dates are subject to availability.
1.4. The FULL amount must be settled prior to setup at the event.
1.5. A quote DOES NOT secure a booking, please enquire if the date is available.
- Cancellation Policy:
2.1. The deposit is non-refundable.
2.2. If an event is cancelled, the event will be preserved to a date subject to availability.
- Event Details:
3.1. The client agrees to provide accurate event details, including date, time, setup location and venue address.
3.2. Any changes to the event details must be communicated in writing SEVEN days before the event.
3.3. Extra hours will be charged at R1000 per hour. (R250 per 15-minute slot.)
This will be invoiced directly to the client after the function, if the booth remains open after the scheduled operating hours.
- Setup and Space Requirements:
4.1. The client agrees to provide adequate space and access for the setup and operation of the photo booth.
4.2. The photo booth requires access to a standard electrical outlet within the setup location.
4.3. Outdoor setup will be subject to weather conditions and judged by the booth operator once onsite.
4.4. The setup must remain stationary and cannot be moved, unless agreed prior to the event. Extra costs will be charged.
- Photo Booth Operation:
5.1. Booth operators will operate the photo booth during the agreed service hours.
5.2. The client is responsible for ensuring the conduct of their guests in and around the photo booth.
- Damages and Liabilities:
6.1. The client is responsible for any damages to the photo booth caused by their guests during the event.
6.2. Photoboo-thing is not liable for any injuries or damages incurred by the client or their guests during the use of our services.
- Image and Data Usage:
7.1. The client grants Photoboo-thing the right to use event photos for promotional purposes, unless otherwise specified in writing.
7.2. Photoboo-thing will not use or sell client data for any purpose other than service-related communication.
- Technical Issues:
8.1. In the event of technical issues preventing the photo booth’s operation, Photoboo-thing will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue promptly.
8.2. If technical issues persist, in the event of not being able to capture photos, or a printer malfunctioning (photos will be printed and delivered to the
client) Photoboo-thing will arrange with the client to resolve the technical issue.
- Indemnification:
9.1. The client agrees to indemnify and hold Photoboo-thing harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from the use of our services.
By booking our services, the client agrees to abide by these terms and conditions. Photoboo-thing reserves the right to modify these terms with notice.
